About Rapide:
Before having your airconditioning repaired, it is important for you to communicate with your Rapide technician if anyone else has recently worked on the system. Then, the technician will inspect your system, following these steps:

• First, your technician will start the engine and check the blower and vent operation.
• If all controls are working properly, the airconditioning will be set to maximum air with the fan on high, to determine the temperature of air through existing vents.
• The technician will run a performance test on the high and low pressure portions of the system.
• Next, the technician will perform a complete visual inspection of the system. This includes checking the condition of belts and hoses, making sure service port caps are screwed into place properly, and looking for oil stains or caked-on dirt along all exposed parts and hoses.
• The technician will leak test the entire system.
• Finally, the technician will check the condenser and radiator to make sure the leaves, debris, or dead insects aren’t reducing air flow over the condenser coils.
